Waiakea Intermediate School Robotics and the Hawaii Community Foundation presents a week of exploration into robotics with our FREE STEM Spring Camp for students ages 9 – 13. Participants will engage in various STEM related challenges such as bristlebots, water rocketry, and model cars; learn about simple machines and build vex robots; and explore programming and circuitry with Makeymakey and Ozobots. This is an action packed week of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Participants MUST:

  1. Be of eligible age to participate (9-13 years old)
  2. Be able to attend ALL days of the STEM Camp for the full duration.
  3. Be interested in STEM.
  4. Be able to work in small cooperative groups.

Prior robotics experience is not required to participate.

Camp Details:

Lunch and snacks are NOT provided by the Camp; however, there will be multiple break sessions.
Campers should plan on bringing water and small snack each day.

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Daily
Monday, March 19 – Thursday March 22, 2018.
