WIS Robotics competed at the 2018 TMT Autonomous Challenge this Saturday, April 7th 2018, held at the Hawaii Community College. We finished first place in the middle school division winning the championship title.
This was a unique tournament where the competition game was not revealed until the tournament day. Students met a few times to receive some basic programming preparation in advanced; however, on tournament day students were on their own. They had to work together to analyze the game/field, develop solutions, and program their robot by themselves. Students could not ask their coaches for help during the tournament.
Congratulations to our WIS Robotics Team Members (Left to Right):
Micah Tajiri, Scott Hakoda, Victor Norem, Alex Ogawa, Jonah Furuli, Ayce Wakano (not pictured).
